And we do appreciate how you helped Iam get through it in the performance you shared....I lost my daddy 22 years ago...my momma is still here but has alzheimers, she is fading fast, I also sing and I plan to record the mother/daughter version soon to play for her and at her services...you wrote a beautiful song James, something that makes people think, they are HERE NOW, and they are vulnerable and it's our turn to chase those monsters away, don't fear we are here and we got you, if you do move on, we will carry on as you want us to...I could have used it 22 years ago , I did have a song that helped, song writer Karla Bonoffs Daddys Little Girl, long story how I landed on that song for his services...but it was the last song of the last CD belonging to my sister who died 100 days before my daddy passed, as soon as I heard it I knew that's the song...as soon as I heard your son I knew I would sing it for my mother...we record next week
