Agreed. I remember reading an article (probably in American Cinematographer) where the SNL crew basically have to be able to light and shoot every genre possible. I don't know if it started with the Andy Samberg videos or what but yes, it's incredibly satisfying to see them pull all this off in a week.

That in and of itself felt weird because it didn't seem like something SNL did. They usually pair a guest host actor with one of their comedic lady cast members who would really ham it up like the ones are around the table. So to see him paired up with someone playing it straight like him seemed out of character for the show. I really thought she was the real deal. I still don't know witch cast member she is. Did the fat one lose weight.

Keenan plays that perfect black dude who's saying stuff, but not really saying stuff (Pauls bachelor weekend). I love how Daniel slipped into his knives out accent. Glad his career progressed after L4yer Cake.

I might for once watch an entire episode of SNL for the first time in many yearsbecause so far the clips from this Daniel Craig episode look really good.good thing I have Hulu and I can watch the entire episode and in fact watch literally every episode of SNL in history.
