Paula, this is a masterclass on the art of being a superb host and interviewer. I listened to at least four other podcasts with James Clear and in each and every one of those interviews, the host intruded with his own opinions and often clearly wasn't listening to James. It is no coincidence that James repeatedly started several responses with "Great question..." as you engaged him with thoughtful followup. Brava!

Today the first time but will not be the last time I listen to Paula's podcasts. I have listened to about three other podcasts that interviewed James Clear. It was so evident that Paula did the work by actually reading the book, taking notes, and was even able to add valued contributions to the interview. Well Done!

Great podcast. I'm gonna get that book, there are a few habits I want to have but I'm struggling with. (Wake up early, do daily stretches, meditate, read more, etc.)

I understand the feeling! Choose one of those -- just one -- and focus on developing that habit only. It's often more effective to build/change one habit at a time. :)

@@affordanything Thanks for the tip, I tend to try to do everything at once. It's the perfectionist in me. But now that I think about it, I know exactly which habit I want to build first.

this book helps me a lot. I have red it several time, listen to audio book when I can, I emailed James Clear himself to ask if therr is something I'm not clear.

I’ve been listening to James Clear interviews all week and this is by far one of the best. Not only did I get to hear fresh information from Clear but I’ve found a new podcaster to follow 😊 Fantastic interview!

Step trackers work for me. I am travelling in Turkey, walking alot. It keeps my weight down, I feel great, and it forces me to explore. Absolute minimum of 10,000 steps, usually 15,000 plus per day. Great podcast.

Human behaviour when repeated several times is habit and it can b developed by simply following Four steps Q, craving, response and reward that's it. For the cue you make it visible. For the craving you make it attractive . For response you make it easy. For reward you make it satisfying.
