I respect James alot. Dont think he mentions it here, but he did train with Villa during the winter of the victorious play off season. I think he had been offered a short term deal in 2018 but got injured shortly after receiving the offer, which would have meant he would have been unable to play at all, for the length of that contract. His fellow countryman James Chester had been our only CB for a while and ended up badly injured also which was why we needed experienced bodies. Collins said thank you but ripped up the deal himself. Could have took a quick payday. Honest fella and a very reliable player. Nice words for Gary Speed also. The Giggsy's, Hartson's, Coleman's and Speed's of the old days really helped to inspire and guide that Bale, Ramsey, etc generation. Great episode.
