Historians/history teachers will be like here are these 2 same sex people during the Victorian era. We have physical evidence that they were in love based off of their secret letters to each other written under a pen name, but they were just best friends practicing writing love letters for their future husbands. It's because (from my experience) most people, both straight and gay, don't like us at all and they always try to prove we are confused or dishonest. Bisexual men are being treated as closeted gays and bisexual women as straight women who are either trying to be edgy (barf) or hook up with a lesbian once and then go back to men (bigger barf)... It's the worst really... So most of us don't even bother coming out and we just date who we like. But deep down I truly believe we are the majority and we have always been.

Since you're gay you probably have different experiences than straight men. Whether it was just a joke (which I think it was) or a hint at something more serious…the thing that shocks me most about this video is that they felt comfortable enough to be themselves and openly joke about kissing, on camera in the 1950’s. During a time when there was a homosexual panic going on and LGBTQ+ people were lynched for less…hell, probably some straight men were even lynched/beaten just from people spreading rumors.
