As a movie buff what can one say about James Dean and this film...certainly a classic thats appeal will never die. I have always wanted to see the remains and you brought tears to my eyes. James was just amazing...I so miss him and thoughts of what he might have achieved after this. We must remember this was "old Hollywood". Unlike todays studios and the drivel they produce which can never hold a candle to a production like this. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!

Moved to Texas when I was six. It's a stark, rugged beauty where the open vistas make you believe anything is possible. Now that I live back east with a lot of trees, I get claustrophobic without an expansive sky (although it is very green and lush). Thank you, Dave, for appreciating my old stomping grounds. Thank you, Scott, for taking me back and getting my heart thumping again!

Seeing that windmill was like seeing hallowed ground. Neat to see it’s been held together after all these years and such great memorabilia of such a great actor. Brought tears to my eye as have been a Jimmy fan for years and (under unusual circumstance) actually got to ride in the ‘49 Merc from ‘Rebel.’

I had no clue at all Little Reata windmill still existed. In my head I think I assumed some pieces of wood from the windmill might still linger decades later, so was not expecting much. When I seen the actual windmill, I had tears in my eyes. When I seen you touch that amazing piece of James Dean movie history, I lost it. How you put that ending all together is absolutely beautiful. Knowing at one time James Dean was up on that windmill. His spirit is still there. Got me very emotional. Great piece of video. Thank you.

Scott, when you superimposed the footage of James Dean onto the spot where you were filming Little Reata's windmill I began crying. Such a great loss of a young actor who was most definitely destined for greater things before tragedy struck. In an interview Rock's ex-wife tells the story of how Rock did not like James and she speculated that Rock was somewhat jealous of James evident acting abilities and Rock knew he would become a great actor. She said after James was killed Rock cried like a baby for a couple of days with guilt and that Rock stated he wished he would of been nicer to James. I sure wish the Town of Marfa would preserve Reata and that windmill as it seems they would be historical landmarks.

James Dean, Rock Hudson and Elizabeth were at the peak of their physical beauty (my opinion). The movie is also beautiful and an epic in all aspects. George Stevens was a genius. Great Vlog. One of the things that hasn’t changed is the original vastness and emptiness of the Texas landscape. Mercedes McCambridge and the entire cast were wonderful. Thanks Scott and Jordan! Snakes😳 that is all that I would have needed to hear and bye!

This is so amazing. I wish I had a better word. I do want to say I loved seeing James Dean's signature. Beautiful. I have a 25 year old son that uses cursive only to sign a document and a 20 year old that has memorized how to sign his name to a document. Both just write in print when needed, which, nowadays is rare. My oldest can read my cursive. My youngest can't. Looking back, the STARS had fabulous signatures. Think of Marilyn! I wonder how long she practiced it and I'm sure she did. There was so much care, appreciation and attention to detail then.
