@@HSMiyamoto the swing is basically a pendulum, and by moving your legs, you offset it's center of mass in such a way that assists the oscillation. By swinging your head forward and back in a cart you achieve nothing and make yourself look ridiculous

It reminds me of my physics professor calculating the effectiveness of throwing an outboard motor off the stern of a boat -- using an applied force to aft to generate an equal and opposite force toward the bow. Not much; better to apply that rearward force through a prop driven by an engine.

No. If we assume the start speed is zero and the end height is zero: Classic mechanics state that the conservation of mechanical energy is mgh=1/2 mv^2 This can be simplified to v=sqrt(2gh) V =speed and here we see that the masses cancel each other out. If you are considering air drag yes it would have a lower impact but the friction from the wheels and steering would slow it down more with increased mass.
