Don't give up on RL James. You weren't uterlising your turbo and thats why you were pottering around like Miss Daisy on 30mg of Diazapan. Its all about beating the other players to the ball and timing. After you score a goal (deliberately) you'll be knee deep into this game. Loving your work btw.

you should do a 1 v 1 with matt, you'll both be able to play at the same skill level - i found that i had to get to a certain skill level before i enjoyed playing online, once you get the basics down rocket league is a shit load of fun. loving the channel man

You need to differentiate the ball cam on and off. When you're ball watching ball cam is on. When ur about to hit the ball and its in your direct view ball cam off.

you aren't gonna play this again. But, if you do. bit of advice: Play with Max 3 people per turn, 4 is chaotic Give yourself a role. goalkeeper, poacher, or just 'possession' (getting the ball in the other half) Don't move constantly, analyse what's going on, if you sit back the ball roll in a perfect position for you. always stay behind the ball if you double jump you can go higher, if you double jump with a directional button you can flip, this is great for directing where you want the ball, and also moving faster or reaching the ball quicker. (you'll see if you try it) if you jump you can use your boost mid air, if you jump once and hold the directional button to face your car upwards, boosting can make you fly, this helps as a goalkeeper to get those high shots out! Basically, just calm down and wait for the ball to come to you, and utilize the double jumps/boost. after 5 games of this you'll enjoy it again I promise

Rocket League has a difficulty curve that is slow to begin with. Once you master aerials and get match made with better players the game opens up a lot more.
