Feels like new singers wants to be different from everyone else instead of playing on their strengths. Music just needs to be sung and performed without pushing personal agendas. At the end of the day, we want the art not the artist yet this sentiment does not resonate to younger audience. They are more into the personality rather than the music they create. To be fair, most "artists" overflowing with personality does have very little musical talent to show for. Still, it is lamenting that my ears have been constantly plagued by tasteless music wherever I go.

Just supposedly good-looking people dressed up is silly sparkly costumes, lip synching to garbage. You don't have to be talented, or be able to sing, or anything - all you have to do is look good.
