When the internet goes down, real artists will have a revival. They'll come to be in touch with/find their feelings & the part of themselves that looks for & imparts hope. Til then, we still have & can memorize the good folk music of the past to keep it alive.

Jimmy; check out Bob Bennets music. He signs mostly gospel. Check out his song titled JT in honor of JT. I've been listening to Bob Bennett since the 1980's. He came out in 1976. Check out Bob Bennetts livestreams. He is one of my favorite musicians. He has never been real popular due to being obese most of his life.

Hope you find the peace and comfort that you long for so badly! It seems to be such an elusive place and feeling. I’m not sure I can do 27 years. Lost 6 very close close friends in Iraq, 3 at one time. Guys that I was closer to than some blood relatives! Sometimes I can hear a voice, a pop, something loud fall and instantly I’m back in that hell hole. So I can sympathize with your sentiment, Blessings to you and God speed!

Some really lonesome notes! Makes me think about a lot of things, including how alone I feel in this world. I’ve reached the crest and I’m headed back downhill. But, I don’t regret much for what took place on the way up to the crest. I’ve stood alone for a lot of my life, but I think I always was true to my beliefs and principles. I’ve had a lot of good people teach me the right things. May the downhill slope be long and gentle. With some adventures, excitement, and love along the way to the end of the trail. Maybe I can leave this world a better place for having lived in it.

👍 🎤 🎸 ! I’m 70ish now, but grew up listening to James Taylor, and still do. Being one of his older classic songs that’ he’s recently performed, I played it back to back with a much earlier version, and prefer this one, though both are very good imo. *** A side note: After reading the ‘more’ info on this, I was truly surprised to see that John Pizzarelli is the jazz 🎸ist! I was a good friend of his sister (Anne) throughout high school, and lived in the next town from their family. She and I went to the same college and lived in the dorm with rooms down the hall from each other. John’s dad, Bucky, was a well known, respected jazz guitarist who played with some of the ‘great’s’ - and his music is still popular today.
