Fretless definitely better. Even though I hate the look of Bongo basses, they do sound lovely ;)

@@JamesDixon Yep, thats what I saw them referred to early on and I can't forget that. Then again, in a small town with few bass players, I used to play a Washburn copy of a Steinberger and a 5 string. So I stuck out too lol

I really love that S&M recording, even if it's all been fixed like crazy in post. That fretless sounds great! Kind of gross to watch that background ooze around, though, knowing what it's made from.

🤣 I didn't even think about the album cover 🤮 yeah some of the best version of the load/reload songs are from S&M I think
