Until you have done long distance bicycling I do not think that folks can realize how boring and tedious some of the day can be. Mile after mile of the same thing, especially when you are feeling a little under the weather. But when you are home, toasty and warm all you will remember are the best bits. jimchik2 we used Sonder, Broken Road bikes and Alpkit bags. We trialed them in North Wales before the trip and sorted the set up there.
