I was watching this video with the sound and all for like 3 mins. Then I fell asleep. So I discovered that I could use this to fall asleep in a hurry when everything else fails.

When the "Distance between the Earth and Moon" scale was shown, I was baffled by how vast our solar system really is. It took Apollo 11 (mission that landed the first person on the moon) 3 days to reach the moon. It took the Pioneer 10 spacecraft 2 years to reach Jupiter. It took the New Horizons spacecraft nearly 10 years to reach Pluto. That same space between the Earth and Moon can fit every planet in the solar system. Yet it takes us days and even years of travel to reach every planet. It's awesome to realize that.

Question: Why the sunspot looks bright? not black
@JamesTyrwhittDrake5 жыл бұрын
In ultraviolet wavelengths of light the sunspots emit more light than the surrounding area. In visible light the sunspots are darker than the surroundings. This animation is in 304nm ultraviolet light.

Correction to my previous post - the sun is powered by a Thermonuclear FUSION Reaction at its core, not FISSION. Sorry for the Typo.
@sherzadhaji42395 жыл бұрын
Wow, I didn't know we went from one side of the sun to the other side between October 14th to 30 in 2014. Yes, I know this is an animation but it is "based on data and images", and for the sunspot to move from one side to the other, we need to orbit around the sun for 6 months.

beautiful sunspot that I like ! does the sun burn also in its core ? is there solid matter in its core ? please reply me thank you . have a nice week !
@anablepophobia10 жыл бұрын
The sun is incredibly hot and dense at its core so no, it is not solid (Earth's isn't either for the same reason, hence: lava).

it's a state called plasma. it's opaque. plasma acts like a liquid in some ways, but with very different, and more complicated properties. it only "burns" with Fusion at the very center, the rest... is only transferring that energy to the surface, very slowly.

Some facts about the Sun: - The Suns surface temperature is about 9,941 degrees Fahrenheit (5,505 degrees Celsius) while the inner core of the Sun can reach 27 million degrees! - The pressure at the core is about 250 billion atmospheres! - The Sun still has about 5 billion years (longer then the Earth) left before it dies. - The Sun is a yellow dwarf star.

The sun looks like a giant brain, consuming the knowledge of the universe and becoming ever expanding. Feeding from life and giving back in return, this super being is a titan patiently waiting to write new histories and destroy old futures.
@pfryears10 жыл бұрын
I was just thinking the same thing... If complexity is life... the sun just had an idea!
@kharnakcrux265010 жыл бұрын
as much as one would like to worship it and think of it like an entity, the Sun is a purely mechanical process, without any semblance of consciousness or sentience. it has no way of responding to its environment. by that definition of consciousness, a thermostat, or a tree, literally does have more sentience than the sun even. Believe me, i admire these stellar objects intensely, but, it is what it is, and not what it's not.
@maxxbreaker402110 жыл бұрын
kharnak crux I don't want to worship the sun, I just want to understand the universe. There's no way you could possibly know if the sun has conciousness or not, I mean if it was a higher being that had thoughts BEYOND empathy and apathy, BEYOND creativity and logic... it would eventually be the brightest mind in the universe.. one could say,as bright as the sun. Even if the sun is just purely a mechanical process, that is enough to worship it alone... I posted my thoughts, your comment was very forced for something based on a theory. I don't doubt that it could be true, although I don't post statements based on theories. Your logical mind is ruining poetry. Embrace creativity, you have two sides of your brain :)
@kharnakcrux265010 жыл бұрын
Kush Dank tl;dr by what means does it make a logic operation; (if-if-else) choice? that is the fundamental unit of consciousness.
@maxxbreaker402110 жыл бұрын
kharnak crux You're ignorant. You admit not reading everything I said but still question me? Is this how 'smart' people think? If there's two sides to the human brain... ones more logical, and one's more creative. When did the logical one become the 'right way' of thinking? You understand that everything you're posting is based completely on theory but yet you're confident it's fact. Why is that?

Sun spots are venting time energy from it time void core - notice the flares reversing along there curved or straight paths as if the scene was run in reverse. Time is produced when matter is produced from our sun and other stars. Emitting from our sun and dissipats as it moves through space away from its source. The rate at which time is produced could be proportional to the amount of matter being produced from energy. A black hole is the result of an absents of matter production from its central sun. Light or for that mater anything can not escape from a solar system if time has stopped. A visual black hole will result as no light can leave from it. Imagine a single photo of light standing still in a time void, it will disappear?. As there is no production of matter produced,there is a type of non time dependant energy ejected from the axis of the black hole. Dark energy could also be a small time void . To produce dark mater real matters is destroyed which could just be a time void. If the the big bang theory is correct the moment mater exploded into existence time was also created. At this point, time was proportionally racing at a faster rate than it is now. Time is one of the most powerful force in the universe. Yet we have no power over it. There is no time standard to tell us if time energy is oscillating from fast to slow as we are within it realm.
