I can't stress how important those tips are!! Half through 2018, I started incorporating all of those habits into my skin care routine and I used to have *really* oily skin but now it's more towards combination/normal! Man, I remember running to the bathroom in 6th Grade during every single break to blot my face. Now I'm super confident and I learned to looove moisturizers, sunscreens and oils. Thanks for sharing this, James xx

@@Piecesoftheshadow I know it's late, but if you're still trying to find sunscreen, maybe you could try cosrx aloe soothing sun cream or biore aqua rich watery essence. both work well on my combination skin and doesn't make it oily. just keep in mind that they do contain alcohol. though my friends and I never experience any breakout from using them. biore has lighter texture so it doesn't feel/seem like you're putting anything afterwards. I personally like the cosrx one, kinda gives my face satin finish

For my oily skin, I found that using heavy moisturizing toners and topping it off with sunscreen or lighter moisturizers (such as gels) is the way to go! The heavier the moisturizer, the oilier I become. To make up for the hydration that my light/gel moisturizer can’t accomplish, the toner does!

Just be careful with it. It has silicone. Silicones leave a film over the skin and over time can prevent other skin care from penetrating and clogging pores. Silicones aren't usually bad but in skincare can be detrimentally.
the gel-cream (idk why it the packaging claims that its for extra-dry skin) is fragrance free and feels very lightweight!

@@gootsycollins3046 I thought the saying was 'good black don't crack?' Idk, I heard it on an episode of Hell's Kitchen lol. Imo Asian people probably age the best... I think caucasian people, especially those that live in warmer climates like most of the US or Australia, tend to age a bit faster because our skin wasn't built to thrive in sub-tropical or desert climates and we go most of our lives without applying sunblock. People mostly from central and north/north-western Europe (i.e. Anglo, Nordic, Celtic, Germanic, some Slavic people etc.) come from a place with dark cold winters and sunlight can be very scarce, so our skin needs to be much lighter to naturally absorb things like vitamin D.

I’ve got oily skin, and since I started adding moisturizer to my skincare routine, I’ve had less break outs and have the right skin balance. But since I have Rosacea too, my dermatologist told me not to use moisturizer as this causes bacteria to grow. My skin does not feel as hydrated just using a water based moisturizer alone. At night I have to add another slightly thicker moisturizer just to get the moisture I need. Then some nights, also my medicated ointment on top....

Should I use the Krave cleanser in my routine by replacing the Bulldog face scrub that I currently use?
@JamesWelsh5 жыл бұрын
Hey! You can use both. Ones a cleanser and ones a scrub / exfoliator.

@@JamesWelsh Hi! & Thanks for the reply! A couple of more questions, sorry. Can you recommend a better scrub if there is a one and would I use the cleanser straight after the scrub? Thanks!
@JamesWelsh5 жыл бұрын
No worries! That’s a good gentle scrub I would stick with it! No you cleanse first then exfoliate / scrub! I have a video all about exfoliators and also the order to use skincare in that might be interesting for you ☺️🙏🏼

what out of these hair products would you say is the best? fish stone fish styling clay/lynx clay or paste / or would you recommend something that's also easily available in the UK? I don't mind spending a little more but I also don't want to be spending £20 just for 1 product, could you please recommend what would be best

I don’t understand why nothing ever works for me! I started moisturizing twice a day to help my super oily skin and all it did was make it even more oily. I’ve tried sooo many different brands I just give up
