I became a single dad 20 years ago, and it was the Naked Chef that gave me the skills and passion to be able to cook my daughter healthy dinners as she grew up. She's all grown up now and cooks wonderfully healthy dinners for her and her guy. I can't thank Jamie enough for giving me the skills needed to toss together quick healthy meals that we both continue to cook today. I'm currently eating a pasta dish that I've made for decades that was inspired by you...Thank yo so very much.

Getting to meet you in Toronto to have you sign my copy of the Naked Chef Takes off is still a highlight of my life; and well that book and picture of you from that day are still some of my most prized possessions ❤ thank you for making food so much more approachable and inspiring me all those many years ago❤❤

I used to watch Naked Chef all the time when i was in middle school and wanted to be a chef so badly. I would practice my knife skills by mimicking Jamie! . I got discouraged from pursuing it by my grandfather in high school. Then, when i dropped out of college, i saw Jamie At Home, which inspired me to start growing food, which led me toward becoming a farmer. Thanks for all of the inspiration, Jamie! It was instrumental. Congrats on all of the success!

I, too, dreamed of becoming a chef, but was also discouraged. To any young person doing this, don’t allow an older relative to discourage you from pursuing your dreams; adults are just as clueless as teenagers. So, follow your gut instincts. There are no do - overs in life, we’re all here just once. 🙂

Gosh I just got emotional hearing Jamie's respect for Gennaro & Antonio, so cute. Loved watching them both in Two Greedy Italians series. Gave my dvd to a friends hubby who is getting Dementia. He was missing his Italy so I thought it would be a nice thing. It's just so sweet to see those memories he has. Loved that series with all the community feel as he zipped around on his scooter buying groceries off small business and fresh food markets. Boy has life changed already.

I LOOOOOVED The Naked Chef. I can’t imagine what it must feel like seeing yourself, not in stationary pictures, but moving about and talking to people and so on 25 years earlier! I still enjoy your show but one of the things I loved about TNC was how you included cooking for friends and family and centring the show on a themed event like a musical gig or going home with Jools and cooking with your mum. Great times. Just as great now but with a different vibe. Thanks so much, Jamie, for all of efforts over the years!

I'm 63 and I've always loved cooking. I watched those early shows and still have the first three NC books from they were first released. In fact I have most of your books. I refer to those first books regularly when I'm making burgers and crumbles among other things. Your recipes never fail. You de-mystified great dishes from the best quality fresh ingredients and I still follow that unpretentious philosophy to this day as a cook, bread baker and brewer. As an experienced cook my most referred-to book is Ministry of Food, even though it's aimed at beginners. In fact I'll be dipping into it this evening when cooking chilli for the millionth time! All the best to you all!
