he's a smart man... especially for how many bumps to the head he's taken hah,, he is single handedly one of thee most important people to ever be in the business... he was at the forefront of soooo many things.. so many brands and legendary videos, schooled so many talented pros.. he had an eye for everything.. i was surprised to hear he ever mishandled Zero.. @@Mau5lex That's fine that youve never heard of em but Jamie is an industry head and claims to have studied the market. You should check out and support Last Resort. Ran by Pontus Alv (Polar) and they support lots of youger skaters and recently collabed with older heads like Jason Adams. People claim that skater owned shoe brands don't exist and then dismiss newer brands just because they aren't locked into constant nostalgia bait like sole tech. It's fine to like the past but skaters are too OD on hating everything that the "kids" like just cause its changing. As if skating isn't always changing.

Leather.. IS the single best material, hands down, for footwear.. its been used since the dawn of man.. its versatile.. its durable.. its comfortable.. and it gets deep.. and i mean, real, full grain leather.. I'm one of those people that buy US handmade boots @ $600-1000.. but they're all leather construction as well and that's where you get the prices..White's Boots, Nick's, Frank's, Wesco.. stuff that's generally hand lasted, even hand sewn.. but the materials.. leathers can be really expensive when you use the really good tanneries... so to hear Jamie used a pig suede... something actually organic.. I'm impressed.. 99% of the shoes out there are synthetic materials that fall apart quickly, offer no custom fit over time, and they make your feet sweat even more.. great stuff on the pig suede.. sounds quality
