Why so expensive? Probably because it’s a corsa and every young person gets one for some weird reason, so they push the price up. My first car was when I was 19 and was a 1.4 focus and was £1200 with no black box, now I’m 24 and it’s £700 a year for a Mercedes c250 which is a 2.1 bi-turbo, no black box!

Zain K the sports or fr 2.0tfsi is mappable to about 300 bhp that’s dirt cheap on insurance and is basically a cupra just not as powerful not a lot in it tho

lot of factors come into it, got a stage 1 Cupra myself 2010 model, only cost just over 700 when I was 24, now just over 500 being 26 with 5 NCB, issue is while the car is amazing and you can take on most cars you'll see on the road it quickly somehow becomes boring...it's just a bit too refined and you get up to speed quickly without realising it, driving a golf gti with same engine, it just felt a lot more fun, you could feel more of the road and for the price these are being sold for, yeah you may be able to pick one up cheap, you can get a 335i for same price. The other issue is even with a 300bhp stage 1 and Michelin you still get wheel spin sometimes, and to top it off, lots of idiots are buying it because it's cheap now keep seeing people on news or in compilation videos doing something stupid

Glad to see people in the comments talking sense, I’m 23 now and until this year I had no chance of getting a quote under £6k a year for something like this, a 1.8 Astra SRI with no turbo cost me £4.5k a year to insure and it was boring as shite, young drivers have no chance of insuring this if they live in even slightly built up areas let alone high crime areas

Nonsense mate, r tech do progressive maps and they also map the traction control, yes it will have torque steer and yes it will spin the wheels up more than an awd but saying it won't put any power down is just false because I own one myself and it fucking flies

I've had a leon mk2 2.0 TFSI ( 200 BHP ) it was fun but it was absolutely horrible on mpg , now cuz I kind of fall in love with that shape of car , I've bought a leon mk2 2.0 TDI ( PD170 with stage 1 ( 230 BHP ) and I can say it's kind of more fun with diesel and you can have an normal mpg .

Colour wise I would say that Candy White is the most common, then Inferi Black,Luna Grey,Emocion Red and then lime green (not sure if that is factory). I own a Luna Grey one and I have never seen another one that colour in person. If I see another K1 its either Candy White or Ingeri Black. Mine is a bit of a stealth car as it looks stock but its running 540bhp and AWD :D

He's a kid who has at best 4 years experience and I'll be honest it shows in his inability to drive at a reasonable speed on the road.... A certain other KZbinr has recently just been taken to court by the police for one of his videos.... But in reality it was raining heavily and the conditions where poor and let's be honest the top of 4th in that car is probably over 100mph.... Completely unacceptable in those conditions and on a public a road!... Joe achilies got taken to court this month for posting a video of him driving on the public roads at 100mph and if I'm honest I wasn't that bothered because 1. He was in a car that was more than capable and 2. The roads where quiet and no other cars about plus it was dry! Sorry pal but I stand by my comments.... Wreck less and dangerous and I hope you're stopped before you either kill yourself or somebody else.

On the Cupra forums a guy put a wavetrac LSD and says it makes all the mods worth it and has awesome grip even in damp conditions. It'll never be like a quattro though..
