Two songs about unrequited love written from opposite perspectives. Now I’m the Fool from her Old Enough EP and now Bad Valentine from the male perspective, still sung by Jordan in a more masculine voice, where he says to her “I thought I told you I would mess up girl, I warned you right from the start”, “You are a FOOL to try”. Everyone assumes Jordan is the bad valentine because she’s singing the song, but she’s the one sitting alone at that table for two, and just as in Now I’m the Fool, it’s Jordan who’s love has been rejected! Listen to Now I’m the Fool and then immediately listen to Bad Valentine and you’ll see the connection. This girl is a genius songwriter, two songs about the same love relationship written from opposite perspectives, sung by the same artist. Only Angelina Jordan Astar could come up with such a concept!

I’ve never seen so many obstinate people who refuse to believe that Jordan is Not the bad Valentine. He even says to her, you are a fool to try, he says it 3 times in the song, it’s right out of Now I’m the Fool, in which he calls her a “mistake”. Listen to Now I’m the Fool and then listen to Bad Valentine right away and you’ll see the connection between the two. If you don’t, I can’t help you.

I am flying from Texas to LA and back the same day just to go to her concert. And I hate flying. I last flew in 1978 but for Angelina I'm doing it.

Wonderful reaction to Angelina's stellar performance. This is certainly up there with one of Angelina's best to date. Working with Toby Gad has likely been an honor for both of them. This collaboration has the chance of elevating Angelina to the next level in her career if it is promoted properly. I've not heard anything like this currently from other artists, and it is pure music. No auto-tune, no pitch correction, no fancy production. She just sang that live and it needed nothing else. Peace and love. On another note, if you are a Carpenter's fan or if you are familiar enough with the Carpenters, there is a performance that I am certain you would be interested in reacting to. In fact it will floor you! Tori Holub is a 20-year-old vocalist, musician, and aspiring audio engineer. In conjunction with Jim, her collaborator, they produced a version of we've only just Begun that is blowing socks off of everybody that hears it. You would think it is Karen Carpenter reincarnated. I don't know why people continue to assume that when Angelina writes these songs about love don't let me go or bad Valentine or other things like this that they are somehow because of an experience she has had. I don't think that's angelina. She's much more philosophical and intuitive than that and I think these are really about Concepts and not really anything about personal experiences.

She performs covers of both of those artists and I, for one, believe she does Adele songs better than Adele, whom I adore. Angelina is among the best vocalists on the planet and she's just 18.
