How to power external IR lights with POE.

Running external power isn’t an option for most people. But running data cable is easy. With this setup you can power an external IR light using a data cable if you have a POE switch.
IR Light:

Does this still power the camera via POE?

I’m not sure. I always ran the camera far away from the lights to keep the spider webs off the camera. So for the camera I did a separate data run.
