I put a go pro on a soft top nose a few years back and found the best way to do it: Get a metal coat hanger, unravel it, cut the tip so it's straight, not spiraly. Then heat it up pretty hot and push it right through. Makes it really easy and the best part, it melts the interior foam creating a barrier the water doesn't go through to soak into your board and make it all soggy. Yes, I've seen many soft tops get soggy and SUPER heavy from getting holes in them. Keep ripping Jamie! Shootz!

Thanks for showing the true potential of what a soft top surfboard can do on a high-performance wave and I truly thank you thank you thank you and thank you some more and thank you some more. I thank you so much because I love riding soft tops and I'm still learning how to ride a shortboard surfboard and it's nice to know that I could still go out on a small pipe or whatever surf break makes sense for safety-wise for my skill level and be able to enjoy a powerful Hawaii wave without putting myself in danger on a soft top still having fun. Please please please please please can you please do some high performance surfing on your soft tops. I love the barreling that's epic getting barreled on a soft top but can you surf shortboard shortboard Style on a smaller board the way you do on your actual real surfboards so we can see what a soft top can really do when it's a smaller size soft top if you decide to do it. I bet the Go pro stick didnt gave anything good even the shorter version ! id try to put a go pro under the board between the fins with some kind of translucid droplet cover to not get too much drag :) the underwater part when you change your fin is surprisingly clear and i think more underwater footage would add value to the Vlog
