I tried this sauce the other day and let me tell you, it was all kinds of awesome! Made some porkribs in the slowcooker and finished them on the BBQ, coated generously with this sauce, holy almighty, this was just delicous! Couldn't get my hands on a Scotch Bonnett or the mascovado suger, so I had to substitude with regular brown sugar and some tiny (but potent!) chilis my grandpa grows in his garden. Still worked perfectly. I can really recommend it with all my heart.

Here is my very popular BBQ sauce i developed and refined over the past 10 years for me to share with you guys. Have a nice BBQ party, folks! ingredients: 3 cup chili sauce 3 cup ketchup 3-4 tablespoons Dijon mustard 4 tsp runny honey 1.2 ml brown sugar 4-5 tbsp liquid smoke essence (Smokey Hickory) 5-6 cloves of garlic. 4 tsp chili powder 2 tablespoons soy sauce (for color's sake) cayenne pepper or chopped chilli to taste. salt and black pepper To do this: Squeeze the garlic very fine and pull the press down in a small saucepan. The garlic should be very finely pressed, you do not want any lumps in the sauce. Add all ingredients except salt and pepper. Stir the sauce and turn the heat on low. Let it simmer and stir constantly. After maybe ten minutes sporadically bubble, it's time to taste with salt and pepper. Enjoy and please let me know what you think about it after you have tried it out.

I want to make it but im afraid of the heat. Im west european. What do you think?
@Eric-ml6cu8 жыл бұрын
Quiche123 heat from spice? Or from charcoal? -you can adjust the chili/pepper depends on your likings or you can compensate it with sugar or honey. -you can do this inside the oven, though the smoke flavor from charcoal will make a big difference.
