Well, I know he is cheesy and all, but that over the top agitation that RAmsay fakes does not interest me. Jamie is a family cook and I do not believe there is a higher honor that that IMHO. I also like JAmes MArtin a lot for his laid back way of cooking and teaching. Ramsay is too agitated and theatrical.

Not sure if he’s that cheesy even. His career is decades long at this point. His antics have etched themselves into the zeitgeist. Perhaps they are cheesy when done by others, but in Jamie’s case it feels like he is just being his authentic self. He has been consistent for three decades in all sorts of mediums.

Problem with Gordon is that he's completely out of touch with what "budget" means. Just take a look at his "budget meals" video - first recipe uses the highest quality lamb steaks you can buy!

What I really love about Jamie is that he makes regular food easy to cook for those that are just learning and for us others he shows us how to elevate it to another level and how to do other things with the same food. ❤ I've been watching Jamie since "The Naked Chef." My respect for him grew by leaps and bounds when he showed how much kids are given crappy food by our schools. Back in my day food was cooked from scratch and things like hot dogs and hamburgers were a once in a blue moon special food day.

That’s amazing!! Love that and the inspiration of ideas !!. I was wondering how that sort of thing could be stored to last for a couple of lunches through the week… would it need freezing and would it still be okay after thawing. Would it be okay sitting in a lunch bag from morning until lunch? Etc. my husband travels everyday to Uni and I really want to pack him healthy and nutritious, filling and great food that is easy to take away and eat straight away or heated a little in the microwave In between study breaks😊😊. Love what you do Jamie. So helpful and inspiring.

I have a batch of those little cups! They are perfect for my meal prep. I I use them for salad dressings, hummus, mustard, salad toppers, or to keep nuts crunchy before I put them on salad. Depends on what I'm having, but they sure do come in handy for lunches on the go.

Hi Angela: I noticed he used the pasta water to hydrate the rice noodles. If you're super sensitive to gluten that's not ok. Would be ok to use the water before the wheat pasta goes in.
