I miss the style and feel of music videos from the 90s, every artist at the time was pushing to make something unique and interesting. Jamiroquai was always pushing the creative envelope back then. Crazy to think the effects used come stock in video editing software in today's age. Great trip in memory lane with this song & video.

@@TRIPSTTR Yes, but there is only one or two huge companies in control of the radio stations. So they choose what the population “ discover” has a whole. And then we have the algorithms that choose what songs are “ great” So it decides what will become popular.

@@coljj4356 no dawg. Notice all the grain? That's real film they scanned. The same originals (depending on wear and tear may have been restored through tried and true methods; not AI) being scanned into higher-res, modern equipment to get more detail out of the physical film. Just because they couldn't shoot digital 4K back then doesn't mean there isn't a 4K level of detail to be extracted without resorting to Fake Pixels.

@@coljj4356 yeah, that's why there's a lot of grain. It wasn't cinematic 35 or higher, it was a cheaper/smaller stock, but the same process applies with more noise in the end product

Jamiroquai was from the future in the 90’s. Even 2024 hasn’t caught them up. One of if not the best bands from the 90’s 👍🏼

@@tatopo40 Pino is quite rightly regarded as a world class bass player, internationally. Same with Zender. People from all walks of life, not even bass players or other musicians, love their basslines - as evidenced by the commercial success of the records they play on, and people on the dance floor. Saying 'underrated' is massively overrated.

I was around 8 years old when I turned on the TV and saw and heard for the very first time on MTV this magnificent piece of art. I got goosebumps and just stood there completely amazed. Since that day until now I’m a huge fan of Jamiroquai ❤ 30 have passed, what a journey!!!

I'm from 1992, I'm still considered a young adult but I fell in love with Jamiroquai when I saw it on MTV when I was 9 years old. From then until today it has been my favorite band. Seeing this video in 4K moves me, it's a gift, we get to see the clip from another point of life. I hope they release another album before I die. PEACE AND LOVE FROM BRAZIL.-

There are so many excellent videos from the early 2000's and older that really need to be uploaded in higher quality like this. I'm glad we can this video and listen to the song in the high fidelity it deserves. This is media preservation; it's good and important work! I want future generations to appreciate Jamiroquai (and other great artists) in the best, truest way possible.

My introduction to this legendary band. Can't believe it's already been 30 years now. Although I didn't see this video until early 1995 on that station called The Box (remember that channel? 😊) I thought this guy was pretty cool and sings sorta like Stevie Wonder. One of the last great Funk bands, long live Jamiroquai!

Man I love this band. I am 14 Years old now and I hear Jamiroquai every day. My parents showed me JQ, when I asked, what favourite bands they had and what music they heard when they were younger. At this point, I was 9 years old and still today, no matter how much I hear one song, it leads me on a new adventure. The bass, drums, keys, percussion, all of them fuse to a perfect band. Jay is just an genius.
