I miss the style and feel of music videos from the 90s, every artist at the time was pushing to make something unique and interesting. Jamiroquai was always pushing the creative envelope back then. Crazy to think the effects used come stock in video editing software in today's age. Great trip in memory lane with this song & video.

The same originals (depending on wear and tear may have been restored through tried and true methods; not AI) being scanned into higher-res, modern equipment to get more detail out of the physical film. Just because they couldn't shoot digital 4K back then doesn't mean there isn't a 4K level of detail to be extracted without resorting to Fake Pixels.

People from all walks of life, not even bass players or other musicians, love their basslines - as evidenced by the commercial success of the records they play on, and people on the dance floor. My introduction to this legendary band. Can't believe it's already been 30 years now. Although I didn't see this video until early 1995 on that station called The Box (remember that channel? 😊) I thought this guy was pretty cool and sings sorta like Stevie Wonder. Man I love this band. I am 14 Years old now and I hear Jamiroquai every day. My parents showed me JQ, when I asked, what favourite bands they had and what music they heard when they were younger. At this point, I was 9 years old and still today, no matter how much I hear one song, it leads me on a new adventure. The bass, drums, keys, percussion, all of them fuse to a perfect band. Jay is just an genius.
