Spotting the points is fairly easy, Akai has put a label "individual outputs available here" on the mainboard. @@Motone so in your case, you just connected directly to those points without adding any extra components and it works like a charm? lit, ordering myself jack sockets then :)

@@ActionlessLoveless nope, went full in, unsoldered those tiny resistors and added switched sockets, so the signal is excluded from the main mix when a jack is connected. But it was awfully hard to do. I'd recommend doing the easy mod...

@@Motone i think i also gonna go for interrupt-able switches good to know regarding resistors -- i had similar impression from the schema but was a bit coward trying to remove them

All you gotta do is unplug the red cord and plug that into a different drum machine, and it will be fixed.
