If you want more fruit set on avocado trees then try a Boron spray. Don't overuse it though as it takes very little! Spray as the flowers look like cauliflower coming out. I had twice the fruit set on mine this year after I did that.

I have tasted them. Unfortunately none of my trees have fruited fully yet
