Notice Carol's questionable flower arranging skills. Apparently the Schwartz's struggled to make Carol more dynamic and always tried to give her "busy-work", even if it had nothing to do with what was going on with the plot. I mean, in a way it worked. Can you imagine how dull this scene would be if both parents were sitting reading newspapers?

The writers portrayed JAN as constantly insecure and neurotic----which annoyed the actress Eve Plumb. In reality, Eve Plumb is the truly arrogant one and dislikes the Brady Bunch franchise---even though it's her Only real claim to Fame.

I never understood that about her. Where would she be without it? On one talk show when she was answering questions about her artwork, her general life and whatever, she practically chewed out a member of the audience who asked about "The Brady Bunch". Sweetheart, why in hell do you think those people were there, to talk about your mediocre paintings? Yet, I also see how she still takes part in most of the reunion shows.
