I've been doing this 3-5 days a week and it's really helping me. My muscles are so weak and my right knee has had limited mobility for over 6 years now, and it's been hard to find an exercise routine that's both challenging and doable. I have to make very few modifications for this one and everything is challenging, yet enjoyable and doable. It just feels natural. I know you'll never see this, Jane, but I sure do appreciate you.

I've done work outs every day (one day off per week) since the age of 33. I wondered if I kept it up indefinitely would I retain my strength, endurance, and aerobic capacity. I am now 77 and the answer is YES. I never did your earlier INTENSE WORKOUTS -- always the intermediate level. I've never had knee or hip problems or replacements. At 77 I am very far beyond my peers in health, fitness, agility, endurance. And I look every bit as good as you do in terms of figure, and if you got it, Flount It! I do. Many thanks to you. By the way, I do this routine for balance, but I continue to do daily routines from your videos from the 80's, 90'' and beyond.....when workouts were really challenging -- emphasizing cross-training. In 32 years I have lost very little in terms of body strength and and endurance.

Jane Fonda is excellent. She shows you the right way (beneficial) and the wrong way (may hurt you) to do an exercise move. And this video seems to have been made in her '70s. Amazing!

I can not kid myself any longer. I am not able to do workouts for any other age group but the one I actually belong to- 60+. The past two days I have been doing Total Body Workout/Fit and Strong 1 and 2. They are perfect and I am so glad that I have found them. Hi Jane, I appreciate the knowledge and research behind the creation of your exercise videos. They work - and are safe for those of us who may have old injuries . Or old bodies! The commentary you give us as you go through each move helps us learn the routine properly and perform each exercise correctly. I do feel amazing after your work outs. Just did one and two of the aerobics and I love your easy to follow, attention to detail moves. I work up a great glow (need a shower, ha!) but feel fantastic, not beat up. Other videos go through everything so fast I can't follow. Love Jane Fonda workouts for older people series. Thank you for making these public! I bet you can't imagine how many older people you're saving but I'm certain you are by offering these videos on youtube. peace.

I love Jane Fonda! I was introduced to Jane Fonda's very first workout video in the 80s. She was the one I can really work with. I got a couple more of her videos in the late 90s and I was working out regularly. Unfortunately I had my knee and other health issues in the early 2000s and apart from her videos for more than a decade and a half at least. Now I reunited with her and her workouts on the KZbin and I am very happy about that. Thanks Jane. You are the best. I love you.

I am well below a senior, but have had a series of years with issues preventing me from exercising again. That said, after a month of doing a similar, low impact/stretching workout, this one works very well for me. If much younger, do not let this being more specifically geared for seniors turn you off, as this is still really great for anyone desiring to maintain or gain strength at *any* age. Let this also be a way to build up to a stronger workout, or if you are just starting out at all.

By the inspiration & grace of God, I am a Hatha-Yogi for many years now. Jane Fonda is practicing Hatha Yoga which is the combination of aerobic and anaerobic organized exercises plus steadiness of mind and regulation of the Prana or the inner airs. She is a natural and her body dictates new movements and exercises with time, acclimating itself with the natural changes of the body and the environment. I used to work out with Jane back in the '80s, then I had my sons and around 1995 I realized I was out of shape. I started working out to my old video tapes of Jane and lost 40 pounds in 6 months! Sadly I've gotten out of shape again in my 50s so I'm back Jane!

By the way, I am chaffed that I can follow you in all you make me do, because I am 83 this year and have the disadvantage of 2 artificial hips and one knee, but that does not stop me playing tennis - again- and hiking most days, and of course your wonderful work outs.

I read the procedure she disliked the most was her neck lift. I wish our bodies were like a sinch sack! Just draw the strings up and, wuh-lah! But, that would put Jane out of biz and we don't want that to happen!😉

This has helped me get back into exercising after an extremely long period of nothing and some injuries. Jane's voice is perfect for this, though I wish the music were a lot lower. Music is distracting and a little annoying for me. I feel good after the workout and like feeling my muscles working. Keep these coming.
