I have watched this series a thousand times. I never tire of it. The scene between Henry and Cromwell is superb: Keith Michell is without peer, and the fawning Cromwell is a terrific counterpoint. There's one point later in the series when, in a rare moment of personal candor and vulnerability, he basically admits he's awful: "What other kennel would hold me?"
