I love how Kevin Aucoin was an incredible painter that used his talent as a makeup artist. He knew how to highlight the beauty in every woman and Janet here is just breathtaking. This album just like rhythm nation and the velvet rope deserved am album of the year nomination with That's the way love goes which was 8 weeks at #1. It was a forward thinking groove. Who would have predicted a sensual groove would be the summer jam of 1993. What an amazing year for the pop divas of the 90s. 🤗
