Almost a year later, I went to see her for the Rhythm Nation 1814 world tour at Wembley Arena, 1990. To this day that gig was the best one I EVER went to, she was amazing. Nowadays, I'm more of an old school heavy rock/metal fan and have been to loads of those kind of concerts in my time. But with that said, not a single one of those rock/metal gigs even came close to being in the same league as the Rhythm Nation gig. You actually felt that you were a part of Rhythm Nation even though you weren't on stage with her, that's how amazing it was, you really had to have been there that year.

@@Jack2729o lies. If you say she copied her brother, then Michael copied James Brown or Fred Astaire. Nobody is completely original yknow. She first was like her brother until she became her own person leaving from her father’s authority. Michael copied Janet too. She was the first to talk about justice stuff while Michael made stuff about Annie and Billie Jean, which are great of course. Another thing is the music video of her song “Love Will Never Do(Without You)” came out before Michael’s music video on “In the Closet”. Both sound similar and have the same aesthetic in the music videos. They inspired each other. Don’t get it twisted. Janet was in a league of her own once she went solo and obviously her brother was too

@@inhuman_human6790 No MJ was influenced by them (also Bill Bailey) and then he created A HUGE WORLD AWAY FROM THEM.. she literally copied all the production, composition, choreography and style. SHE COPIED she wasn’t only influenced by…. she even had her nose job so she looks like a photocopy of MJ…. Honey .. be honest .. I study music and dance .. I was a dancer and I’m a music teacher .. for example the song Rhythm Nation.. like many others ..in some videos and performances she was so much the same as him that you didn't know if it was MJ or her.. she was OBSESSED with her brother. Madonna was totally her and SHE created her pop very successful and more innovative (DIFFERENT) world.

@@Jack2729o I think you’re just hating on Janet at this point. Having a bias towards Michael like most of his crazy ass fans do. SHE copies but HE gets influenced? Why can’t she get influenced? That makes no sense and it isn’t fair. It’s bias in plain sight and it’s such a gross trait to have honestly. Why can’t she admire her family member that SHE was the closest to since childhood? Michael Jackson fans are insane bro. Thinking the man was perfect. I used to be that way, but now I’m not thank God. No one is perfect. He was a great entertainer and so was Janet. Very talented. It’s people like you that made her feel bad for trying to be an entertainer. People constantly not taking her seriously throughout her career. Always thinking of her brother. But she stayed strong thank goodness. So once again, she did not copy her brother she was influenced by him and by other artists. If she copied her brother she would literally make the same music lyric by lyric and melody by melody of each and every single one of his songs. Did she do that? Nope. Also, I don’t care if you study music and dance or whatever because it doesn’t make you more correct. Plus you’re some dude on the internet. Why should believe you? I’ll give you one thing though, you’re right about Madonna. She is an awesome entertainer. I love Vogue the most. Her live performance for that song was amazing.
