I made a point of performing a dead hang at the gym with both arms until I could hang for 2 minutes, so I thought I’d have a go at a one handed hang , I managed to hang for about 5 seconds the next day my forearm was black and blue, it’s a lot harder than this amazing girl makes it look 😮

More than strength it was about body positioning. Yes, that one arm pull up was incredible but the real crux was the finish which she did by keeping her weight over the right foot while bumping the left hand out to a stable position. That strong left hand is what got her the finish. That is where both Pilz and Meul struggled and Janja succeeded.

Insane strength and mobility for sure but mainly perfect body positioning for all big moves, you can clearly see what she is doing different and it works. Some will need 15 try to get perfect body positions but you cannot try 15 times in competition, she has a climbing QI extremely high and get that done perfectly very quickly.
