There are financial incentives to winning every match, regardless of whether you’ve qualified for the next round or not. If you win the title by winning all of your matches, you get the biggest prize money in Tennis over 4 million.

Rune will beat Sinner when he decides to tone down some of his shots from the mid court and baseline instead of going for winners when he doesn't have too. His versatility is greater than Sinners. When and if he works on a harder serve Sinner will have trouble beating Rune. Not to mention Alcaraz ,Medvedev and very shortly Shelton.

How wonderful it is to watch two young players hitting the daylight out of the ball without any annoying grunting. So nice hear the sound of the ball being hit. Would rather watch these two over Alcaraz any day.

A spectacular match. Sinner gained a lot of respect from me after this match, he played all his cards despite being already qualified and also with back issues emerging during the match. Not sure if this would have been the case if the match was played in a different country, the crowd was an extra motivation for Sinner to give it all!

I'm proud of how Holger Rune played this tournament, he only lost to Djokovic and Sinner which there is no shame in. I can already see Boris Becker's influence on Rune. He's pushing him to be more positive and always compete hard. Rune has so much potential, he's only 20 years old and I think people are way too hard on him. He does struggle mentally but I'm seeing a mental shift this tournament and Paris. I think with the offseason coming up for him where he can make big changes to his and mentally reset, he could surprise everyone in 2024. I can't say for this will happen, but it can. Djokovic, Sinner, Alcaraz, Medvedev, and Rune could be a fun 2024.

That volley on that 4-4 BP really shows how much he's improved in his net game; improved a lot on his serve, both the efficiency of first and the quality of the second. He's really building up his future the best way

@milanavujicic6854
@milanavujicic6854 6 ай бұрын
Why should he be thankful? Sinner and Rune were lucky to play with weak Tsitsipas, while Novak had to play with Hurkacz, who is currently a much better tennis player than Tsitsipas. If they had already changed a player, then everyone should have played the match with him again so that the conditions were equal for everyone.
