On a fast court Sinner can put a lot of pressure on his opponent. He's generating huge power but his strokes are compact, so he's got time for the next ball.

@@bd3531You're 100% wrong. His strokes are indeed compact. Compare them with some players who take their racket back beyond the central plane of their bodies. The most extreme example is Soderling. This gives you an idea of the difference. Then have a look at the majority of "modern" ATP forehands. Jannik's is nowhere near 180 degrees +. Gonzalez, same, beyond 180 degrees.

Djoker has been playing great since the end of 2022. Those with a bit of brain understand how difficult it is to stay competitive at high levels ALL year long. Alcaraz had is peak in the first half of the season, Sinner is having his peak in the second half of the season. Old? Probably you have never practice any sport seriously. If you are a genetic freak, have always trained consistently for years and haven't undergone any major injuries, in your mid 30s you are a beast to recon with. Fyi most Olympic athletes perform better in they early 30s and in their early 20s. Fyi, a fit 40 year old will always and always outdo any unfit 20 year old. So the calendar age is a factor but not the only factor.
@brando4422
@brando4422 6 ай бұрын
@@lorenzogumier7646 I played college baseball so I know what playing sports serious is, along with high school track but like 99.9% of population obviously don't know what his level is like. But your ignorant as shit if you couldn't read between the lines of it meaning the old vet vs young guys trying to take his place in a fun way. Did I ever once say he was old? No... didn't think so, just like animals and people it's instinct to fight the youthful new comers off which he has said as much. Apparently reading comprehension isn't a skill anymore since he's the one who has mentioned what I have said that drive's him. But you are flat out wrong that you're better at this age, otherwise everyone would be doing it besides the few who have the drive, and DNA makeup to allow them. It's not the past where people were a higher percentage were regressing by 30, but it's still not normal at 35+ to do this which makes what he's done remarkable. But your need to respond tells me you played a sport as a child and think that's as far as everyone else has since you think 35 is prime. It's the prime of life, not athletics which anyone who's actually played even at a medium level understands it's still your mid to late 20's for all but the outliers.

@@lorenzogumier7646 And yes your right, a healthy driven 40yr. old I'll take over a video gamer unhealthy 20yr. old, but that's a whole other argument and nothing on what the original response you had. Just like I'll take a certain individual at 45 over a 30 year old who does nothing. Again this was about top level tennis players not society or reaching in other categories to add to a point.

All the power of Djokovic relays on the fact that he has this capability to anticipate the play of his adversers. If you look on the 2nd sets, Sinner had 4 breaks and Djokovic 0 break, but he came back. I propose you the look very well the 2nd sets, you will see that Djokovic started anticipating most of Sinner hits, that is why Djokovic came back. On the 3rd sets Djokovic did the same, but Sinner changed his ways of playing😂 and for Djokovic to analyze Sinner new way of playing, it takes time, and it was too late for Djokovic, that is why Sinner won😂😂 Good job Sinner❤

To win Djokovic , you most play differently each sets. Because Djokovic has this capability to read and anticipate easily the play of his adversers. Maybe that’s why he’s a top level competitor. Each player is self assured and I like it. Novak said he’d likely win this tournament before it started, I liked it. It’s not cocky, it’s confidence. It’s a round Robbin event, Sinner can’t go out there flexing how he defeated Novak when Novak could very well come back to destroy him. The competition is still very much on. Handshake is enough. Not everyone wants that sweaty man hug. P.S I’m a huge Novak’s fan.
