I just got this same machine a few weeks ago and appreciate your video more than you’ll ever know! I’m going from a very plain Jane machine that was just under a hundred bucks when we purchased it 8 years ago. I feel like I’ve been sewing on a little Honda civic to a jaguar over night! I have so much to learn about this machine, figuring out the computerized part has been my biggest struggle. I learned how to have the presser foot to automatically come up when the machine stops and keeps the needle down. I was so excited about that feature but now I can’t remember what it was that I did 🙈🙈🤣 My biggest question for you or someone else that may see this comment is, does this machine have a high or low shank? I got this machine used and it’s missing 3 presser feet that I’d really like to have. The main one would be the 1/4 inch foot, I’m still trying to learn what feet do what, I’d also like to figure out what foot to use for top stitches. There’s really no tutorials that show you how to navigate this machine so I’d love to see some videos of someone just straight sewing, piecing and quilting and even embroidering because I’m really lost and it’s taking the fun out of sewing and making it feel more like a chore. Please I need your urgent advice, My janome MC12000, is telling me me to, LIFT UP THE PRESER FOOT AND NEEDLE BAR,THEN TURN ON POWER AGAIN. Please what should I do?
