Stunning flowers! Peonies are among my very favorite flowers and the I love how you add touches of unspecified flowers in your arrangements!! I look forward to all your landscapes and would love for you to paint a cabin in the mountains. We go to the smoky mountains twice a year and love the old cabins in Cades Cove. Thank you for showing the subtractive technique and for teaching so much with each tutorial!! You are appreciated!

ALL your work is stunning and I know before this upload even finishes it’s going to be beautiful 😊 at 12:08 if I can get that far as good as you I’ll sell the background 😅 thank you and keep sharing your talent. Best wishes from a half sunny UK morning

Thank you so much. Starting out with the subtractive really gives a lot of interest to the final painting. Fun technique.

@@JansenArtEducation every technique you show I think ok I can do that it looks easier than the last hahaha what a false sense of security none are easy, you right don’t be afraid it’s just paint, stay loose and practice practice. Your board preparation is key to all your work for sure. I need to work on getting my palette to look like yours too, that’s the sign of a great painting

They add a lot don't they. I think they play nicely against Rembrandt's warmer tones. 😀

Hi David! You're an art synthesizer! I loved watching this lesson -- and I loved the way you flawlessly folded the Dutch techniques from the last floral lesson into this Rembrandt / Petit composition. The rich, luxurious background worked so beautifully with the Subtractive Technique. (Yes -- I have seen you use that wipeout technique in several other lessons -- like "Petalling a Rose in Acrylics Video 1" -- which I've enjoyed learning from quite a number of times.) I thought -- in your video today -- that light violet that 'traveled' through the flowers -- reminded me of the glow of an opal. So pretty! (Thank you for the reminder that weaving is better than blobbing -- hahahaha. I know -- we're professionals, right?) Anyway -- in all seriousness -- these 'peony-roses' made my day today. Looking forward to the upcoming Western. Best regards to you and yours, JV

Thank you thank you, my Jetpack MiFi, & the weather is keeping me from videos. Granite that comes with the area I live in since I live in the middle of nowhere however I need it shows up as 2:40 oh well only sometimes it will let me change what is it called here the quality it always comes up at 240p SD. It is so frustrating I constantly have to rewind click the button twice on my remote and then it goes back and it'll catch back up goes back catch back up I don't mind that I could watch this a million times but I need to be able to see a little bit more than that at a time doggone it so it just gave me 7:20 we'll see if it'll let me watch it it's still thinking about it has anyone have any suggestions now I am a full-time rvr but I live in a particular area that I love which is on Pend Oreille lake in North Idaho and I just love it here but because of the mountains and the bay that I'm in and the Navy base there's so many factors that go into all of this and granted I have his CDs but I want to watch our man on his videos as well because I pay to be a member which I love doing so if anyone can give me any suggestions on if there is a different Wi-Fi that I can go through that is compatible with these giant RVs I do not have my own satellite and that doesn't always work the jetpack technically works better than the satellite if you have any ideas please sign in other than that thank you thank you thank you David for the beautiful art and the history oh how I love the history of it
