One can truthfully say, “They broke the mold after he died.” There has been no one like him since......

I always been fascinated by him too! I always looked upon him as a man's man, with the sensitivity and the strength of a true human being. And everything I heard about him leads me to believe I am right. thank you for such a beautiful presentation

Yeah, that’s true, and he cheated on his wife with a whole lot of his co stars, but after all those years, he decided that his wife was more important, and came back! Isn’t that cool

@@thestonedlizard9597 forgive me somehow I take for granted in my mind that every man cheats... And after reading a little while back that Cary Grant lived with a man 12 years.. I am very sorry I ever express any opinion about any movie star 😔😁

Oh I don’t mind, I was just saying that I thought it was cool that he decided to go back to his wife after all those years, and that made him seem like an even truer type of man

Can you imagine what a fun life he had? Kibitzing with the British royalty, enjoying his home in Aspen with an adoring family. An insatiable lover of the world't most beautiful and important women. An architect, artist, athlete, fashion setter of great style, and a tip top actor to boot. What a glorious life he had.

Unfortunately, I saw only one movie with this actor "Mr. Deeds Goes this Town" and I have to admit that he was excellent actor and very handsome, I think that much more than famous Humphrey Bogart! He had beautiful eyes, mouth, figure... Just handsome! Not much men (actors) are now really so interesting as he. He had class and he was true gentleman! Thanks fot this video!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve never seen that one, but you should watch the pride of the Yankees, it’s free on KZbin, and sergeant York, they’re the only movies I’ve seen of him, but they’re both great

I watch sergeant York in middle school, and the teacher referred to Gary Cooper as “not very cute” don’t quite know what she was talking about, cause he’s the best looking guy I’ve ever seen

Thank you for posting these pictures. I just love looking at them. Gary Cooper is such a delight to look at. And to dream of, even though he has long been gone. It would be great to see more pictures of him and his family. If only we can ask his daughter, Maria Janis, to share us some!

I feel the same way...It's hard to explain the SOULFUL-ness of Gary Cooper...But yes you see it in his eyes and in the subtleties of his acting...Incredible nuances of emotion, never overplayed, usually understated -- but profound in what he conveys on the screen!..Amazing! I truly LOVE watching his movies, watching for the fine brush strokes he gives his characters...sheer pleasure! I believe his growing up in the nature-rich envoronment of Montana was a big factor, but also he was an artist at heart -- drawing, painting, illustrating 1st, then acting... I think the combined influences of his British parents, his mother esp'ly, wanting her sons to be properly schooled English gentlemen (b4 WWI) and the influences of growing up in Montana as well, among Amer. Indians + others walks of life, learning to respect all people enlightened him spiritually...These were the origins of his depth of character and humanity. You see this in the roles he chose to play -- The Cowboy and the Lady, Mr Deeds Comes to Town, Meet John Doe, Sgt.York, The Fountainhead, Friendly Persuasion + others. I am not saying Coop was perfect, he did have that one character flaw, but he dealt with that in his life later and reconciled w/his wife and daughter...Besides, not my place to judge him, rather to LAUD ALL that Gary Cooper gave us on the screen and in his being...which is such a wonderful, timeless Gift! Love u 4ever, Coop! 💞
