I love how sweet and wholesome your videos are, but also how you aren't afraid to tackle tough subjects when you feel they're warranted. I also really appreciate that you don't take yourself or your channel too seriously, and aren't afraid of letting videos slide when more important stuff comes up. 10/10, excellent setup, I'm a big fan of your Love, Life, and Habits tracker, I may try one of those, myself, in Feb. Thanks for your videos!

Everybody parents differently because we're all different and our children are all different. I personally find that what works for one doesn't work for another. As adults, we need to join together and raise each other up instead of pulling each other down over minuscule differences because in the end we all want the same thing - to have happy, healthy, well-adjusted kids who aren't a burden to anyone. You do you and ignore the ignorance of others. Really nice spreads too, the pink and purple looks good.

I love your videos and have been missing them! - I live in a country, where it's illegal (punishable by lawl) to hit ones children and I love, that I never have been looked at funny, when I told people, that I never did that. I never let my son cry it out or fend for himself and.... Today I'm blessed with a kind, helpfull and very wellbehaved 16yo.

The jellyfish are so sweet. And the colours look really pretty. I did get the giggles (yes I’m a big kid too), at you pausing while saying body. I could imagine you trying to hold in a laugh too. I agree about not smacking children. There is no reason to smack them. I’ve never smacked my girls. Reasoning helps.

This spread is so inspiring and gorgeous! 😱😱 My favorite fix up when I make a mistake like that is taking a page out of the back and gluing it in over a spot, that way I don’t have to redo the whole page. I have had to use that hack more times than I’d care to admit 😅 the back of my bujo is hacked up

Also, my son woke up every single night because random noises would startle him. A noise machine (or just a fan 😅) really helped him get more consistent sleep because random creaks weren’t startling him
@missmckennaslifeleverage60282 жыл бұрын
Hacked up 😂 I've got a few that look like that too 🤦🏼♀️ We've got a fan going at night which I think helps, but Felix sounds like your son, the slightest noise and he's like "what's going on? Who's moving? What's happening?" All I have to do is roll over and he wakes 😂😭 Going to do a bit more research on different strategies I think, I was hoping to move him into Ridley's room but I don't think that will be happening any time soon, I think they'd just wake each other up all night long 🤯 💕

It’s funny that you don’t like the term gentle parenting cuz that’s the term I prefer because here in the states positive parenting is what most people say and it implies that you never say no which is definitely not the case. Also hang in there momma I have the same sleep issues with my youngest and now that he’s 2 he usually only wakes up once in the middle of the night. Oh and your baby boy is just adorable.
@missmckennaslifeleverage60282 жыл бұрын
Ah, I see what you mean, I think maybe people think gentle parenting equals being too soft on your children and letting them get away with anything and everything, which it obviously isn't at all, I can see why positive parenting would be problematic too. I think my pet hate is when people say, "my parents hit me and it never did me any harm" well obviously it did because you're saying there's nothing wrong with hitting a vulnerable child, if you did that to an adult it would be assault, plus who knows what psychological damage it did without you even being aware of it 🤷🏼♀️ I'm not in any way saying I'm a perfect parent, my boys misbehave sometimes too, I just really don't think hitting is the answer. I know that's not what your comment was suggesting, I just get a bit fired up on this subject. Also, that's really great to hear about your little one, gives me hope that Felix will get better with his sleep at some point 🤞 thank you 💕💕

Have you tried changing his food? Some babies sleep better if you change their food.

I'm lactose intolerant so I'm wondering if that has something to do with it, maybe he gets tummy ache in the night 🤷🏼♀️ he doesn't really have a lot of milk based foods though.... I'm going to start trying to feed him up a bit more before bedtime, I'm wondering if he's getting hungry in the night. I'm honestly not sure what it is but it's quite tiring sometimes so hopefully I can remedy it soon ☺️

this is your child and you should raise him the way you want too. as for spanking " the only time I remember spanking mine was if they did something dangerous that could hurt them and even then it was not a hard spanking just enough for them to realize that they should not do that. as for not sleeping is he on a bottle? if so you might try putting some cereal in his milk and give that too him before he goes to bed. a lot of the time when they are little they wake up because they are hungry.
