Setting up my monthly dashboard, health and habit tracker, and my In Box help me stay organized as January gets started. I plan more for function than for beauty, but I do like to add a few cute stickers to create a theme for the month.
Hi, I’m Crystal. Welcome to a Crystal Clear Life where we talk about planning, organizing and living a more simplified life. I use Microsoft OneNote 365 on my PC to create functional and decorative planners and notebooks to help keep my life organized. OneNote is awesome because it crosses all platforms so I can use it on my desktop PC, my iPad and my Android phone. That way I am never without my planner! Hope you enjoy.

Hi Crystal, I am so happy with your videos and I am learning so much from them. Thank you so much for that! I have one remark. I found the music you use in some videos, like this one, really works on my nerves \. And yet, I want to know what you are telling. Is it possible you use some gentler music in the future? Are all; your projects located in your daily planner, or do set up notebooks for Projects, housecleaning, Health tracker?

My health tracker and my house cleaning are all in my yearly notebook. I keep them in the monthly sections. My projects are in my yearly notebook but they have their own section. Any old projects I simply have links to their locations in the old yearly notebooks. At the end of the year, I copy the tables of my health pages all to one page in my medical notebook, then I can see trends at a glance. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching.

@CrystalClearLife Are they going to get rid of one note now that loop came out? I am starting a new note collection and I love onenote, but dont want to start using it if they are going to get rid of it.

I have not heard that they getting rid of OneNote. They have been adding a lot of features to it. I think Loop is just add ins. I think you are safe to keep using it.😊

@@CrystalClearLife is there a way to create each page the size of a printed page. Whenever I try to print my pages, nothing lines up.

I have been watching your videos. I really want to learn how to do this, but it seems like so much to learn. Do you have a template for a beginner? I already downloaded and imported the calendarpedia yearly into OneNote. As far as the months, the weekly, and the daily, I am so lost. I want to be able to catch up to where you are.

I think I addressed your questions on another video, but I will add the information here as well. First, I love your enthusiasm and desire to try digital planning. I will tell you it is always easier to create pages on a computer rather than your phone, but once created and stored in something like OneDrive you can sync to all your devices and use them on a daily basis. I do have a beginner tutorial in the 2024 playlist. 2024 OneNote Planner: kzbin.info/aero/PLq7-CgaPQOfxCqnU2fHlOgbjmVrHa2d3w It starts with creating the background in powerpoint. Then adding the yearly calendar, creating a weekly page, then other monthly pages. This week's video is a daily page for those who might need that. I also have an older video that is called from paper to digital where I talk about taking your favorite paper layout and creating it to be functional in OneNote. One you have the concept of creating tables, you will be able to go wild and create all kinds of pages including budget. 😉 I hope this helps. @@barbra429 Click on the playlist link and watch them in the order they are in the playlist . Start with 2024 OneNote Planner, then 2024 year long, you could skip the goals section if you want then go to the monthly, then weekly, etc.

Do you know why my pdfs with links dont work once I add to onenote?

So, OneNote is a note taking program not a pdf annotation program. I know many people want to purchase planners created for GoodNotes and use them in OneNote. I am not sure if that is what you are trying to do. You can import or print out pdfs into OneNote, but the links will not work in that pdf, basically they get flattened into a graphic or picture. They might look like links but they are just part of the picture. You can add your own links in OneNote. Links can go to other pages, notebooks or sections. They can go to files on your computer or cloud. They can also go to web pages and more. Here is a video that I did about links in OneNote.
