Missing Rachel but loving these meals! I think it's especially funny that you can tell this is 100% Todd - including the editing. Ever since she mentioned that you are more of an editor/storyteller - I pick up on that! My fiancé and I are exactly the same....I'm a minimal editor and he is practically a filmmaker! Love the content - thanks you two :)

I know you have to missing Rachel. My husband is gone 6 months out of the year for work and I still miss him desperately. I cook for my grown kids while he is gone, gives me some purpose. Otherwise I might be eating eggos or something lol. Kuddos to you for keeping healthy meals going.

I grew up on salmon Pattie’s. Got burned out on them but now that I’ve been canning for over 40 years. We’ve got about 40 pints in the pantry, I need to start cooking them again. Try them with Mac & cheese! It’s the only way I’ll eat them!

Todd, my stove has the small (simmer) eye and I could never cook really good rice until I got this stove. I bring it to a boil on one of the large eyes and allow it to boil hard for a couple of minutes-then I move it to the simmer eye and let it simmer, covered for 20 minutes. It’s ALWAYS good this way 😊. Your meal looked very good!

I bought an Aroma brand rice cooker on the recommendation of America's test kitchen. It makes perfect rice, as long as your rice to water ratio is correct. It also cooks pasta, and steams vegetables at the same time. Best 20$ appliance I use, more than any other.
