Before I went to Japan I read about the Shinkansen and was fascinated by the technology. When I rode the Shinkansen I was amazed how fast we were traveling even though it didn't feel as fast. Love these videos! Thank you so much Rion! Saving these videos for my future trips!

Final Osaka review before leaving for Tokyo was fun to watch. It is easy to imagine these places to be more crowded again during the Golden week. The Shinkansen ride while enjoying an ekiban after a longer time made the difference. In addition to that a wage but still visible Mt. Fuji quite nice. By the way your respective video is close to 100 000 views. Congrats for that! No wonder that the ekiban was not enough for the lion appetite, so the Tokyo station snack plus beer was of a great help. I presume thst during the Golden week a lot of inhabitants of Tokyo will leave but other people from other parts of Japan may be visiting Tokyo and mix with the inbound travalers. Let's see what this clash will look like. GAAOO..

Hey Rion! Fun to see the Namba Station adventure - we stayed near there on our trip last Summer. The plaza in your opening shot was under construction then! There are lockers inside the station that are cheaper and use just IC card! There is also a Japan Tourism center inside that is a great place to stop and get any help you need.

Dotonbori’s awesome! 🤩 The Osaka Expo mascot looks to me like a mix of the Cookie Monster and Elmo from Sesame Street. I can see why it can be scary but I think it’s also cute. 😆 Great view of Mt Fuji! 🏔️

Thanks Rion once again! From your video, when I am on Shinkansen, if I want to view Mt Fuji from Osaka to Tokyo, I have to reserve a left window seat. They have original date when they issued, so we need to change the date for the day we use. We only can do it once and that’s also the reason why it’s cheaper!

I was starting around dotonburi for the past week... Honestly you could spend a few hours here and have a meal there but it's waaay too full on crowded i would not stay there again and probably wouldn't visit again. Also after hours the place is extremely seedy.

Rion …please can you explain the discounted tickets to me? I see you every time swapping the date. But I don’t understand why they let you swap the date if you’ve bought a ticket for the wrong day? Are the discounted tickets not for that day? (I would expect them to be unsold tickets for that day?)

It’s originally the bulk ticket, They have original date when they issued the ticket, so we need to change the date for the day we use. We only can do it once and that’s also the reason why it’s cheaper!
