🤣 I guess you don't live in an earthquake zone here in the USA. The reactions, the only reactions possible, are nearly identical. Same in Europe (Italy, Greece, etc) in similar earthquake-prone areas. Perhaps you're describing your own panic, assuming other "western people" would react the same.

It's been 11 years and no one reply to your comment about did Yokohama suffer from the tsunami... For your information, the Epicenter of this earthquake was in Miyagi prefecture in Northern Tohoku region... Meanwhile Yokohama in Kanagawa prefecture way south in Central of Japan in Kanto region about 380 KM from the epicenter... So no tsunami in Kanto region... Only in Tohoku region
