at around 2:30 - 2:50 ish, there's an absolutely amazing monkey park where monkeys roam freely on some nice terrain. its quite the hike but man was it worth seeing those cute lil guys! sad to see you didnt go/film there!

Yeah i know, but we had very limited time to make it to the golden pavillion as it is closing at 5pm. In Kyoto you can easily spend 5 days and still miss something.
