I agree! My wife is from Fukui, so we go to visit her parents there and I feel like I never want to leave! I actually started a channel recently showing off our trip that we took. I'm really looking forward to going back in December and vlogging my trip. I think it would be great if more people knew how amazing Japans countryside is and not just the big cities.

Yeah Fukui is a great city it's sad but because Fukui is one of the most underrated city in Japan so that's why only few people talking about that

how long to go to that shrine from fukui station ? is there any public transportation for tourist ?

google maps says it's a 1.5-2 hour journey. You spend 1 hour on the Echizen Railway Katsuyama Eiheiji Line from Fukui Station to Katsuyama Station and that is followed up by an infrequent bus service to the shrine.
