Jenny’s arms are bendable too her arms are joined by a metal piece that’s why they move together. Also the first jenny that you showed has the traditional Jenny body and the photographic Jenny happens to have a larger body and shoe size.

Jenny looks like she's going to be digging up the road in that hi-vis jacket. I definitely get 60s vibes from her flower power top and mini skirt too. Shame they aren't separate pieces - but doesn't this tend to be a thing with Licca dolls clothes too in that they basically just stitch everything together as an outfit and then velcro all the way down the back? Perhaps it's just how they tend to do it in Japan. She's definitely a very pretty doll for sure.

It's easier to redress the doll with a single velcro in my opinion.

I will never not be bummed about the one time I found a vintage Licca Chan at a thrift store for $1, well I bought her then I had to basically immediately sell her because my dogs leg broke and I had to come up with a lot of money quick😭 my pups amputation was worth it though! He does zoomies like he never had 4 legs!

The castle Jenny dolls are stunning but LORD those prices 🥲 It was really tough for me to find actual original Jenny dolls for auction as well- I totally understand. I’m trying my best to focus on #licca and avoid the others but it’s very difficult… they’re all so gorgeous

Daiso stores sell Elly chan clothes that fit Licca chan, on the cheap, but the shoes are too small.

Jenny is one of my favorite fashion doll lines, but watch out for the legs and shoes. They contain so much plasticizer that just a few days of contact will leave melt marks on many other plastics.

I just got a Jenny of my own three days ago!!! She was pre-loved, so her arms stopped holding poses after a while, and her hair was coated in leaked glue when I got her😭
