I'm surprised you haven't been to the Hawaiian Islands yet. When I was there many years ago in Kono on the Big Island & Kaanapali Beach on Maui, I saw many Japanese tourists

I have been to Hawaii four times and each time it was rather like being in Japan because of the very large number of young Japanese tourists. Sorry but I hope Solo Traveller concentrates on other islands and countries.
