A penalty given to Japanese should have been checked to verify. Just my thought is that Scottish player didn’t pull or hold Japanese player in penalty area. She just jumped and touched! I would say 1-1 goal each team tied! Referee kinda needs to be careful!

If you watch the slow motion video of penalty foul, it shows defender pulling on the forward's shoulder. Instead of fouling, defenders in that position should concentrate on jumping higher to head the ball.

Alexander actually made some pretty good saves. Did you watch the full game? The first goal she conceded should be said "well taken shot". Also her sight was a bit disturbed by her teammate in front of her. The shot was good that IMO it was not easy for an average male GK. Also she is just 170cm tall. The ball was coming much higher above her height.

Look, this has nothing to do with sexism. The game will be more competitive and fun if the goal is smaller. Females on average are shorter and don't jump as high as males, by making the goal smaller, it makes cheap chipping shots more difficult and giving the female GK more impact on the pitch.
