It’s such a picturesque wonderland whenever tokyo is adorned by the cherry blossoms in full bloom. I hope to one day experience it for myself, but I’m grateful to continue catching glimpses with Shizuka until then.

For those of you thirsting for some hard liquor after watching Shizuka take 2 ounces of freshly picked cherry blossoms and add to 8 ounces of Jamaican rum and serve stirred but not shaken in a tall glass.

Cherry blossom season is spectacular in Japan... It's a photographer 's dream. Everybody is in good spirits, the weather is pleasant, the landscape is gorgeous. It feels unreal. It invites us for celebrating life, friends, another hard year gone. But it's so fleeting. You miss a single day and it's gone. So if you can witness cherry flowers blossoming, don't miss the chance. It's Ichigo ichie (a rare opportunity). Leave whatever troubles you for just a few moments and celebrate life in it's most splendorous. But if you do miss it, there's Shizuka here on YT. She's like a permanent cherry blossom 🌸 and she's always back to make your day better 😊

Guys, please help me out? Where is a nice and quiet place I can take my parents to see the blossoms who have never been to Tokyo? Really anything helps. Also looking for fancy cafes, festivals, activities, etc.
@JapanbyFood7 ай бұрын
Literally, our favorite question! For quiet and gorgeous sakura spot in Tokyo, please try Arakawa Akabane Park, Kaga Park (Toshima ward) or Tamagawa Golf Club (map location) along Tamagawa River, you can walk from Tamagawa all the way to Rokugodote or choose any spot in between.
