I feel like this is the reason I've only found someone else that I share desire with online. Anonymity is a curse when it comes to an online relationship, and just telling my now-boyfriend from Germany that I'm trans almost resulted in an emotional breakdown due to the fear and self-hatred it brings me. He was still expecting to see my face sometime, and it was difficult - not as difficult as before, mind you, but it's cringy. I look more between a hon and a non-binary individual than a woman... but he reminded me again, that what matters is who I am, not how I look. I might feel better if not for him mentioning an old partner he regrets leaving a year ago, a whole day before. It's just hard to think rationally sometimes, okay?

I believe that's part of the point. It seems like the meaning here is about a man who may like or love a girl but doesn't like the way she looks...as in, isn't really attracted to her. There's nothing she can really do about it, so it is hurting her.

so basically roles are reversed and the girl uses male go-to logic. it's scary how different things seem when viewed through a different perspective. most arguing people do is due to everyone having different perspectives and frustration over the other not understanding what they feel. neither one is right or wrong, but it's easier to get frustrated or hateful than to realize that you might not ever have the words to explain certain feelings.

I love all the faces in the video, especially the trio in the suits, I think they look so spiffy and cool. Love how each one is so unique from the other

Aw the last scene is kinda heartbreaking

Why? She's free. At the end she discovers she doesn't need a pretty/popular guy and she is happy by herself... playing the guitar and loving music.
@ssyumyum66 жыл бұрын
maybe heartbreaking wasnt the right word, maybe more melancholy? idk as someone who plays as a hobby it just really resonated with me. Not to sound overly sentimental but sometimes music and specifically playing an instrument for yourself is the only that keeps you from feeling lonely. When I saw the last shot i thought "yeah ive been there before'

Yeah, that've been cool. If she did that and immediately got turned down by the girl as well, that've been even cooler. Despite the societal brainwashing from all angles, everybody isn't a homosexual. And if anybody watched the music video, neither was the character she was playing.😏😌😁😎✌🏼

The music is so layered and lush, luscious. The words so sad but sung so out of the world-ly. Video shadowy, like hiding feeling and does sound like painful feeling. But she's standing up for herself. And this is amazing. Found via Amoeba Records, what's in my bag. Love, love, love.
