Finally after all these videos I get to see a z31 fairlady Z. I can't believe how long it took to come across one in your videos. That one is a 200 ZR 2+2 with a RB20DET. We never got that one in the states only the VG30E and VG30ET 2 seater and 2+2 300zx Japan had for the Z31 200ZG VG20ET 200ZR RB20DET 300ZX VG30E & VG30ET 300ZR VG30DE

That 1973-74 Celica is THE BOMB!! My close buddy had one back in the early to mid 1980's and it was Awesome and he only had a few minor mods on his but as soon as I drove it I was smitten!! It was So Light and handled like and Go Cart yet had a great larger car feel to it too. If you were to get one and put even a bit of power behind it with a LS Diff it would be the coolest!!! You'd love it once you drove it too!!

In America for "show and display" imported under 25 we actually take the clusters plugs out to not show above the ~2500mile a year limit, just use waze etc to track speed and slap an after market tac in somewhere... it used to be alot simpler when you could just pull the speedo cable out on old shut but people will deal with no warning lights etc for daily driving to avoid violating the check til a car is old enough

I miss my CA18DET 180SX back in Australia but it was my daily for 14 yrs from 2000 to 2014 and its waiting for me to returnfrom Asia. I still have it and have the 444cc GTR injectors, Z32 AFM, Bosch 044 fuel pump and a S15 BB turbo plus a ton of other parts with 300hp. I agree the Z32 but works well with my nisstune ecu though when I return I think a link ecu and a rebuild will be needed.

The rust tip I can relate my o1 gs eclipse was a rust bucket had to buy the same car twice just to be satisfied literally the car was rusting away from the strut tower and engine fire wall had way to many hidden holes for a 1400$ car

Like we've already seen probably a few hundred of the chassis' he defaults to for every one of these auction videos, no one cares anymore and I'd wager 95% of the examples really haven't been anything interesting or special. I'm not saying he should stop covering them, but more often than not he just passes other stuff that's way more interesting without even giving it a mention (ok a handful of times he has mentioned off brand cars for him but did not give them much of a showing).

Dude, my whole point is he only highlights the couple of chassis that he's already familiar with. He's not learning shit in that instance, he's speaking on things he already knows that he can confidently make content with. I'm not saying he should be buying those other cars he may or may not be personally interested in. If he wants to learn about something he should include more cars he's not as familiar with, like when he occasionally throws in a very particular model of Subaru GC RA, that's what I'm saying he should be doing (and even then he's ignoring like 75% of all of the other decent Subarus). He even throws in an MR2 or a Starlet every once in awhile, but you can't deny that these auction yard videos are stale as fuck when it's literally just boring run of the mill S-chassis, R-chassis, JZX chassis with an FD/FC or something else sprinkled in once in awhile. It's almost the same video every time, he's just wearing a different outfit.

At 00:43 that's a Nissan 240K Coupe if I don't miss my guess or thats what they were called in Australia. I had both the Coupe and the 4 door Sedan, great cars to drive. I'd give my left nut to be able to get my hands on a registered 240K Coupe, but they are worth big $$ in Australia now. Edit: my bad, it's NOT a 240K, but it looks a LOT like one, the rear end is slightly different. the 240K has a flat panel with round tail lights.
