- Renovating the Japanese-Style Bay Window into Western Style
- Installing a cedar board counter and renovating it into a plastered bay window
This bay window was made in the Japanese style and had shoji screens.
In the video, it'll be plastered and renovated so that it can hang curtains and other things.

You use such immaculate wood compared to the construction grade standards here in the US. I imagine it's not cheap.

Honest to god, this is fine cabinetry-grade timber in Australia. Which makes sense, because Shoyan builds a windowsill like the rest of us would expect fine furniture to built.

You could probably put on a master class in America and sell out the class seats the day you put them up if you were willing to travel, brought a interpreter and partnered with a shop for the tools

4:29 a decimal inch square O_o Is that common in Japan? I thought everything would be metric. I have seen his measuring tape has metric and inch, which is common even in America. But decimal inch is for machinists. Fractional inch is for carpenters. Is Shoyan just using a machinist's square?
